Internationales Bildungs- und Begegnungswerk in Dortmund

IBB e.V. is planning an open round of talks on supporting refugees as part of the „KOMM-AN“ NRW programme

The International Association for Education and Exchange (IBB e.V.) is planning a series of five talks targeting volunteers in refugee support in Dortmund for the second half of 2016. The new further education programme on culturally sensibility for volunteers takes the name „Fokus F“ and is based on the experiences of IBB in its seminar programme on cultural sensibility „Fokus“. It conveys background information regarding countries of origin and attitudes on religion, culture, family and health, specifically for refugees. Each of the five talks, given Wednesdays from 18:00 to 20:30 at Haus Landeskirchlicher Dienste, Olpe 35, in Dortmund, can also be attended individually. „We do not just want to convey our knowledge, we also want to create opportunities for exchanging experiences“, says Hildegard Azimi-Boedecker, section manager for Job international and Migration at IBB e.V.
