Migration and Inclusion

inkludMi_Button_06In the beginning Inklud:Mi was a project for including migrants with disabilities, impairments and mental health issues. Networking meetings in the Dortmund region and trainings regarding culture-sensitive approaches were organised. The third networking meeting in June 2015 was specifically focused on self-help and presented projects like a support group run by Russian-speaking addicts. The Contact point of Der Paritätische and the Association of social-cultural migrant associations Dortmund (VMDO) presented their work as umbrella associations. The European Fund for Integration supported the one-year project phase (2014 to 2015).

The 4th networking meeting will be split over two dates: The 18th and the 25th of November 2015.

After the project phase: The network lives on

From 2016 on, the one-year project will evolve into a regular exchange forum with yearly networking meetings. In 2016, the congress „(forced) migration, disabilities and mental health issues“ takes place on the 2nd of May.
